WE ARE WHEATLAND FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

Founded in 1936 as the Hamilton Watch Employees Federal Credit union, our institution has been in continuous operation serving the financial needs of local people like you. The name was changed to Wheatland Federal Credit Union in 1968 when we extended our services to a number of Lancaster county employee groups, resulting in a diverse assortment of new members.
We were granted a community charter for Lancaster county Pennsylvania in January 1999.

As a federally chartered credit union Wheatland FCU offers our members the safety and confidence of knowing that their money is insured up to $250,000 per account by the National Credit Union Administration. WFCU is a member of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, the Lan-Chester Chapter of Credit Unions, the Pennsylvania Credit Union League and the Credit Union National Association.
